The varied terrain and clear blue open sky makes outdoor family activities such an awesome experience. The farm roads are ideal for trail running as well as mountain biking. Hiking can be done in short or long distances from the house to accommodate all family members. There is a variety of flora and fauna to be seen as well as bird life. There are spectacular views from the plateau’s overlooking the Fish River and veldt plains below.

The highlights of a family weekend away would be to enjoy the peace and serenity; star gazing; dams and wildlife around these watering holes; a sighting of the hippos (from within your vehicle only) and undoubtedly the sunset from the deck to the sound of the crackling fire at night in the complete silence surrounding you.
